VistaPrint is my choice for business cards. A public company with over 1,600 employees and headquarters in Hamilton, Bermuda, VistaPrint is “a global, e-commerce leader operating a European Union Web site and 19 localized sites across the world.” In fact, they are one of the largest online printing companies in the world.
Designs and Templates
I designed my cards using Photoshop and added a foil effect to my logo, and have had many “Oos” and “Ahhs,” which have actually helped convert the lead / contact into sales. The design specifications provided by VistaPrint were very detailed and accurate.
For those that are less design savvy, VistaPrint has pre-designed templates, that you can create a professional, attractive business card online in seconds.
Ordering and Shipment
Unless you plan on being a networking maniac, I suggest ordering just 250. I attend numerous networking events a month and 250 lasts me about a year.
Through the checkout process, I was hounded with add-on products and services (just like Godaddy does), but in a couple of clicks my order was processed. I choose the 21-day shipping option and had my business cards with 7 days. Not bad.
Verdict
Overall I’m very happy with my business cards and will be making another order soon.
