How To: Iron A Shirt

Being able to iron a shirt is a skill that, to my astonishment, many professionals do not know how to do.  An ironed shirt removes much more than wrinkles.  It also removes that image of you as a just woke up and came to work person.  It shows that you:

  • Pay attention to details
  • Took the time to look nice
  • Care what others think of you
  • Are neat, clean, and organized

So, here’s a video from Esquire on how to iron a shirt, and please, take 5 minutes to iron your shirt before going to work:
